We are pleased to provide you with recaps of both the HMC Annual Golf Tournament and the HMC Annual Fishing Tournament! This issue is filled with information and photos from both events, and sure to be very entertaining. 

We are also pleased to let you know that the HMC’s Annual Holiday Party will be held on December 15, 2021. Please save the date, and keep reading for all the details!

Lastly, please remember that the HMC depends on its members to actively participate and pay dues in order to function. We urge you to stay involved and please register on the new website if you have not already done so. Instructions on how to log onto the new website for the first time are below. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved with the upcoming Holiday Party!

The HMC’s Annual Golf Tournament was held on September 22, 2021, at Wildcat Golf Club, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for golf! After a day on the course, attendees enjoyed a fajita lunch and a raffle filled with great prizes.

The HMC’s 20^th Annual Saltwater Fishing Tournament was held on Friday, October 15, 2021. After a great day on the water, anglers, members, and friends of the Cub attended the official weigh-in and happy hour at Cabo in Clear Lake. We can’t wait for next year’s tournament! Thank you to all the anglers and sponsors (Business Interruptions Consulting & Tim Strickland)! A special thank you to Past Skipper Tim Strickland for his unwavering support of the HMC and making this event a huge success each year!

Houston Maritime Center 2021 Gala

The 2021-2022 membership year is in full swing! The Officers and Board ask you and your companies to please continue to support the Mariners Club through payment of your dues. As discussed in relation to the new website, each member will need to complete the initial login process, which includes payment of dues. We strongly encourage each of you to complete the initial process as soon as possible, as the website will be utilized as a communications hub.

Instructions:

Visit www.houstonmarinersclub.com and select the “Join Us” tab. Next, click the blue “Sign Up Now” button, click “Select” for the HMC Annual 2021-2022 dues choice, and follow the steps under “Account Information.”

NOTE: You will need to go through these steps even if you are not a new member and previously had an account under the old website!

If you already paid your dues, or are a Past Skipper, you will be provided with a confidential discount code to ensure you do not pay during this process. The discount code will be sent to you later this week.
