Hey Anglers and Club Members - It’s that time again!!  Who is ready to fish??  This year the tournament will be on October 7, 2022. The Friday tournament has worked well and everyone seems to enjoy a day out of the office and still calling it “work”.  Please start getting your teams together and entry forms submitted.

As in the past, the tournament will be a 4-person team competition with no divisions.

Entry fees are $100.00 per person.  So a 4-person team is $400.00, 3-person team – $300.00, etc.  

Entry fee for Single Angler: $100

Entry fee for Four-Person team: $400

Tournament Happy Hour Tariff: $30

Tournament Sponsor: $500

You may get a guide at your own expense, but remember; the guide will count as one of your team members. Fishing time will start at 6:00 a.m. The weigh station will open at 3:00 p.m. and close at 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: weigh-in will be held at Cabo Clear Lake, 2513 NASA Rd. 1, Seabrook, TX 77586 (same as 2021).

A Happy Hour will be held at Cabo Clear Lake in conjunction with the weigh-in festivities. A $30 tariff is due for members & guests not participating in the tournament. Tariff includes food and 2 drink tickets. No additional tariff due for those entered in the tournament. There will also be a cash bar available. Tariff payable via the HMC’s website.

As always, there will be great door prizes and trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams, as well as Big Trout, Big Red Fish, Big Flounder & Big Ugly. Additionally, all boundary restrictions have been removed so you can fish wherever as long as you make it back to weigh-in on time. 

The Captain’s Meeting will again be held virtually, TBD.  At least one team member from each team must be present at the Captain’s Meeting where we will provide the official tournament rules. The deadline for entry will be at the Captain’s Meeting and space is limited to the first 40 paid teams.
